Hey, I am looking for place where I can do eye test without making an appointment? Just literally come to store, ask and get form signed after test. I live in dublin 1. Any suggestions? Also cheap as possible?

For most places, you shouldn't need an appointment. I know I didn't in the opticians I went to in Dundalk. The eye test for a Learner Permit application is relatively simple (if I remember correctly, it's just reading letters, and then using that machine that tests your peripheral vision where you press the button when you see the flash). In 2009, it cost me about €12 or so, so it's not too expensive.

Just go around a few opticians when you have time - it's a very common request!
