Just wondering if the Apple store in Victoria Square in Belfast will install some Crucial RAM I just bought, and whether or not I would have to make some sort of an appointment and what charges may or may not apply...

And please dont tell me to do it myself, I have my reasons

Apple Stores won't install non-Apple RAM for you.

What kind of Mac is it?

    Give it a go yourself.
I've done it twice on an imac and was really easy.
    Macbooks are probably alot trickier

They install it for you on the spot if you buy it from them.

    Otherwise, forget about it.

If you're not sure there are clips on youtube showing how it's done

As said Apple won't install this for you, it's not their RAM

I'm not sure about the mbp but I opened my 2010 mac mini using a precision screwdriver set from halfords. Had the right Philips size 00 driver.
