I start the game with no first window budgets so my prices maybe off but these guys must be still well work scouting.

    Ivan Stoyanov (~300k & 5k p/w would get him)

    Anderson Martins (~50k & 5k p/w would get him)

These are both EPL standard players, obviously not elite players but for that sort of money you cannot go wrong imo

And once again, Haris Medunjanin (~1.1m & 25k p/w) is the type of player that can run games if you setup your team around him, slight downgraded in FM12 but still a tour de force for that money

Douglas Costa is a snip at 7m, will become a leading EPL player within 18 months

New game, got him for 9m!

James Tompkins, centre back from West Ham for five million or maybe a bit under
Will turn into a leading CB for a Premiership team. Ok not a bargain but he's the kind of player you'll keep for years and can still sell at a profit

Mentioned in the other thread, Pablo Counago, a free agent and a great signing for any Blue Square or League Two team.
    Will bang in the goals

I'm playing as a Russian first division team with eff all wage budget. My scouts tell me these guys are great buys but I cant afford them with their wage demands. Maybe someone else can try them and see if the scouts are right. If they are, they are absolute steals.

Jeferson - £70k, £475 PW. 22 year old AM. Some of his attritubes are hidden but he has about seven of them up around the 14 mark.
Ramon - £55k, £525 PW. 22, LM. Not as many high's as Jeferson but he does have 17 for agression, 16 for technique and 15 for creativity. A good few 12/13's too.

There are more but they look the best value for money that I dont have :(

Another personal favourite still is quality. He's now at the club just under a year and he's probably now very near his full potential. Doesnt need a work permit, he's Italian also. For €3m and €17.5k p/w I dont think you can get much better value for money ball playing centre back than this.

Anyone able to throw up a snapshot of Marco Verratti from Pescara and Tom Cairny from Hull? They were great prospects in 11, grow into solid players so Im hoping the same this year!

  • Registered Users Posts: 20,553 ✭✭✭✭Dempsey

I had Verratti in a couple of versions myself and although I knew of Crainey, I never signed him in a game.

    cairney.png

A CM - Advanced Playmaker/Attack that isnt a Team Player

    verratti.png

A DM - Deep Lying Playmaker/Support with poor Marking

With a good tutor and some individual training they could become very good players though

Cheers! Still looking like I will buy them first season.
Cairney is brilliant imo. I had Gerrard and Kaka tutor[= him (and Verratti) for 3 years and he's technique and creativity grew immensely. Was getting assists every time he played. He was a cheap player too, even at 26 he was only on 30k

Both are crying out for a tutor but I dont think they are FM11 level with that.

You have to install the game and prove us all wrong....:)

Couple of young guys who develop well in my otherwise very expensive Chelsea team

Jordy Molenaar, 18yr old CB - Signed from Feyenoord for 3 million
Potential to play at the same level as Terry. Quality
    £1,200k a week - what a bargain!

    18 appearances, 1 goal, 3 assists 2 MOM, average rating 7.46

For that troublesome left back position
Fernando Zarate, 18yrs - Went from FCB juniors to Banfield for 325k.
    I signed him for 2.5mill
    £4,500 a week!
Potential to be a key player - 4 stars, average 7.24 rating

    Keeping Jack Robinson out

Signed him for United through scouting network in FM11 and also signed him in FM12, excellent player

Check out Andile Jali and Kara at the start of the game. Jali can be bought for £375k and can turn into a good Premier League player within a year. Kara can be bought for around a million and can turn into a leading Premier League player.

Nice one... although by the time I'd seen this I'd already spent my massive £7 million budget on Junior Hoilett :/

Why is it that in some peoples screenshots it has (ID=xxxxxxx) after players/clubs names?

Its an option in the preferences. Basically you can assign a picture to that unique ID but I dont know why people bother enabling the ID unless they are actively involved in the making of facepacks etc.
