Who's your favourite poet on the 2012 leaving cert course?

I know I'm on my own here but so far I think Plath is the best poet we've done.

We didnt do Plath but I'm getting one of my friends to teach me her, she seems so amazing and I'm sick of hearing about her epicness and not understanding :P
    I loved Rich though!

I'd go for Plath as well closely followed by Boland.

Dislike Rich though she's too much of a whinger.

As I said to my English teacher in the middle of the class: "Rich obviously isn't a lipstick lesbian, she's a man hating one isn't she?" followed by (in reference to Trying to Talk With a Man) "Has that bitch ever tried talking to a woman!?!"

    Sylvia Plath
I do like Rich, but i think Larkin is very easy to write on! Agree on how bad Kavanagh is though!

I hate Kavanagh. His use of colloquial language can suck my dick.

You should give an 'I hate the lot of them' option. That the way I feel.

Ughh my teacher isn't doing Plath with us :/ And I was really looking forward to studying her poetry as well! But so far my favourite is either Robert Frost or Eavan Boland.

Plath!!!, Unlucky the hero born in this province of the stuck record, where the most watchful cooks go jobless, and the mayor's rotisserie turns round of it's own accord. There's no career in the venture of riding against the lizard, himself withered these latter days to leaf sixe from lack of action, history's beaten the hazard.....

    Pure Genius!
