So I've been with Sky since mid January, unfortunatly I lost my job and have to move back home to my parents, I cant afford to stay where I live and to pay Sky or for my eircom boradbad(for another thread)

IS there anyway if I cancel I wont have to pay the full amount up front, any sort of clause I can claim ?

dont cancel straight away. afaik you will have to pay the monthly sub for 12 months, you can reduce the sub to min (€25 ish) for remaining months ,
dont forget to cancel 31 days before the end of contract.

You own the equipment so set it up at mum and dads house and you will be able to use it for the free channels when the contract is up,

put €1 a day into a box, it will be paid for then.

They can be very sympathetic and reduce your payments plus they do a free house move for your equipment so as John Mac said, get it set up at your folks place.
