receiver for house

    hi hope some one can help my question is that today my gf recived a letter stateing that they have appointed a receiver for the house she is renting,what will happen next?? she pays 600pm rent but also gets 112pw in rent allowence. she pays the balance directly in to the landords account by cash. the letter said that they have also arranged for a property management company to call to the house on tuesday at 3. will they tell her that she will to leave ?or could they put up the rent? and what way will the rent allowance work? she is very worried about this matter thanks

    I imagine that rent will have to be paid to the receiver from now on.
    I doubt they'll give her notice to leave. The property is much better to be occupied and generating income, or sold as a going concern.
