Problem with Pictures taken on IOS5

When transferred to my pc they appear upside down ???? I cant correct them ??? :eek: Ive googled it and it appears its a problem with IOS5 :mad: Some say to take the pictures pressing the volume button underneath!!!!... surely that defeats the purpose of putting it like a camera button in the first place !!!!…
