Hey guys does anyone here have any experience with this? I ordered a broadband package from Upc as my Utv Internet has been awful as of late. I noticed there's a 30 day notice for UTV ! Does this mean I won't be able to switch my broadband provider until then? A rep from UPC told me that I should ring UTV when they send out the welcome package to my address! Thanks

Essentially UTV will be charging you one months broadband charge to say goodbye to them. I would not cancel until you have UPC up and running. I did the same a few years ago and never looked back.

It's funny you should mention that. I am with UTV Internet and it has become really slow for me lately with very high pings. I thought it was my line.

UPC and UTV are completely different broadband systems, and one has no baring on the other. Cancelling UTV (or not) will have no impact on ordering UPC. What you should do is wait till UPC is up and running, once you're happy with that, then cancel UTV. You'll have to pay UTV for the month, but it's a small price to pay for having no down time or anything like that.

You can transfer your number to UPC once it's installed.
