How come I cannot copy and paste a picture using Firefox yet I can from Internet Explorer, In order for me to copy and paste a picture, say from Google, into an e-mail I need to open up IE and then it will work. What's up with doing it from Firefox ??

    TIA

When you right click the image does it give you the option to copy it? Or click it and press ctrl+c.

There are two options in firefox when you right click an image:
Copy Image Location: Copys the image's URL address so if clicked should show the image
Copy Image: The one you want, copys the image as it is to the clipboard,
Try use "Copy Image" and see if it works

Can you paste the image into say Microsoft Paint and it works? It could be something to do with the way your email client handles clipboard data, can you copy text stuff into the email easy enough?

What email client are you using? Sounds like it is the problem!

Outlook Express has always been like that when it came to pasting pictures from the Web. There's nothing wrong with FF, It's just Microsoft being Microsoft, they only let OE interact with other MS applications.

If for example, you copy a pic from the Web, paste it into a Word document, copy it from the word Doc & you will be able to paste it into Outlook Express.

Another option, if you don't need to do it too often? is to right click the pic on the Web and save it to your Desktop, then when you have your new email open, choose to "Insert Picture" and point to wherever you downed it. (see Pic below)

Why not download Windows Live Mail? OE is a security nightmare and should be stopped using as soon as possible! Liva mail will import your accounts & mailbox from OE, I would definately reccomend you take the plunge
