    Hi all ,

I have a 5 year old Dell Inspiron 1501 with a faulty ethernet LAN port.
    It has a slot for a ExpressCard/54.
Would anyone have an ExpressCard/54 for ethernet/LAN.

I saw one on ebay from HongKong but I've not used or trusted ebay before.

Any suggestions ( cheap is best ) appreciated. Thanks

Went to Peats & got a USB to Ethernet adapter for EUR 15.99 instead.

For little bits and bobs like that DealExtreme is great. It's based in Hong-Kong, and has a load of very cheap odds and ends. All the products have space for user reviews, so they'll usually say if something is actually terrible or not.

... although you'd be waiting a month for shipping! With the free shipping anyway.

    There is that.

It depends though, I've got stuff from there before within five days of being shipped. The longest I've had to wait is three weeks. The average being about two.
