MS Office home and student - stuck in Spanish!

Please help, I've been banging my head off the wall.

I've been fiddling around with word 2010 trying to turn the overall display back to English.

So far, I've got the screen tips back but it appears that the only language on it is Spanish! I don't know Spanish.

I've gone from file-options-language. When it came to 'display languages installed for each MSO program' the only one listed for each one is Spanish. I would rather not have to buy a language pack as the English should be on it so any advice would be great.

It won't let me set irlanda inglés as default and it states it as being enabled and installed.

    Thanks!

What are your regional settings set to in Control Panel?

did you buy the spanish box or the english box first off - and have you tried, reinstalling?

This is most likely caused by Regional Settings, have had to fix this issue in the past, there is also a default language option for most Microsoft Office products, its in Start>All Programs>Microsoft Office>Tools>Regional settings and preferences, try in there!
