The battery on my Samsung Galaxy S2 seems to be getting worse and now does not last the day. I have seen more powerful batteries on ebay? Are they worth buying? The phone is several months old. Other than the battery issue I love the phone!

Its a fault with android 2.3.3 and 2.3.4.
apps keep running in the back ground and a task killer app will not do it.
try rebooting phone to reset for short term.
you have a app or 2 that is hogging your battery so try uninstalling them and putting them back on one at a time and run them you will see what I mean.

Ok I think this could be the problem alright. I don't have my phone backed up. I had the iphone 4 before this. How do I go about backing up the Galaxy?

    Thanks:D

go on to your android market / click on my apps and remove /uninstall them.
turn off your phone and back again try that for a bit and u will see your phone lasts way longer now.
u can install them back on may be one a day and use them to find out witch one is bad for ur battery
for me it is always the good apps.
ps angry birds 1-2 and 3 are ok so u can keep them on.
to look into updates and fixes.
    goto xdadevelopers.com
or like me google xda samsung galaxy s
this works for all phones ie xda iphone 4
this is ware all the questions can be answered.
    hope i could help
