Hotel in Singapore

Stopping in Singapore for 3 nights en route to Australia. Looking for a hotel near Clarke Quay/Orchard Road. Doesn't have to be too fancy just clean! Anyone know any reasonable hotels? Some I've looked at seem extremely overpriced for what they are!

I have stayed in both Traders Hotel and Orchard Hotel in Singapore. Both are very central and I had no reason complain. Singapore is one of my favourite cities in the world. You will have a great time.

There's an Ibis Hotel near Clarke Quay AFAIK. Seems to be under €100 generally (which seems to be cheap for this city)

Ibis on Bencoolen? I stayed there and it is good value and it is quite upmarket compared to your standard Ibis and a little bit more expensive than your standard Ibis.
