    anyone whos been a member or is familiar - would appreciate if you could let me know (been trying to ring but no-one picking up) -

    + is there a pre-booking process for any or all of the areas or can you just head up anytime?
    + are there areas reserved for lessons - e.g both short game greens and the teeing area facing back up from the bottom of the main ground - or is all available for practice?
    + if youre using the short game area is it only payable per full-hour or can you choose to use for half an hour and pay half the hourly rate?
    + is it always playable or shut during severe weather - extreme rain, etc..

    Not a member but have used the facilities there quite a bit. I'd always recommend you give them a ring before heading up. They do have full day clinics, short game clinics etc which can mean most or all of the short game area is unavailable at certain times. Best to check in advance.
