Why not just stay with the solicitor who is expert enough to tell you that you have a really strong case?

Constitutional law can mean almost anything from challenging the failure to hold a by-election to claiming that you were unlawfully detained. Why not google constitutional solicitor and see what comes up?

You can literally pull out the yellow pages and ring every solicitor asking if they do constitutional law if you wish.

The truthful answer here is that generally (but not always) the real specialism is in counsel when it comes to constitutional law.

There are excellent solicitors who know constitutional law. That's not in doubt.

However, most constitutional cases are not brought by constitutional-specialist solicitors, but rather by solicitors who have access to the best minds in the law library on constitutional matters.

It's not like medical negligence, where there are pure med-neg specialist solicitors or defamation etc.

I'd say you'd be best to try the nearest St Vincent de Paul Shop or Homeless Soup Kitchen, considering that's were any solicitor who was solely practicing in Constitutional Law would be likely to be found!

Any solicitor should be able to provide you with the basic advice you require, however a Barrister would be more likely to be a specialist in Constitutional Law., but you need to consult a Solicitor to access a Barrister.

I agree and slightly off-topic, this, in a nutshell, is 'why the legal services bill is a dangerous piece of legislation'.
