this should be very interesting, weve seen the hype around 2.5 men, season 9 starting numbers were unreal, but are coming down now that people have seen what all the fuss was about,

if this show can draw the same attention for just that initial 10 episodes i think FX are screwed, and i think its very possible for it to hit whatever target has been set out, of sunny draws 2 mill and is FXs biggest draw AM must have some hard but realistic target to meet, say 4-5 mill, i cant see it being around the 10 mill mark,

Becker alum Shawnee Smith has been cast as Charlie Sheen's on-screen ex-wife in his upcoming comedy, Anger Management, Deadline reports.
In Anger Management, produced by Bruce Helford (George Lopez), Sheen will play Charlie, a former baseball player with anger issues who becomes an unconventional anger management counselor.
According to early casting breakdowns for the role, Charlie's ex-wife is described as a beautiful woman who doesn't have her life together and is on the constant search for a life path. She always lets her identity be defined by Charlie, but left him after years of his cheating and now goes from boyfriend to boyfriend, much to Charlie's chagrin.

Selma Blair, Elaine Hendrix and Julie Benz are in talks for the role of his therapist also (Shame Jane Lynch cant do it)

Ouch!....are rather SCATHING review/endictment of Charlie Sheen here by Maureen Ryan, she makes alot of valid points tbh. A good read, basically this show is one huge PR stunt by Mr. Tiger Blood.

stating the obvious really, i dont care why hes doing it, if its good ill watch it if its not i wont, the woman seems to have an axe to grind,

im only looking to be entertained and im under no illusion that charlie sheen was the reason 2.5 men was the success it was, last i checked sheen wasnt a writer, hes an actor, he played the part well, and TBF id say there were probably 10 or 20 actors that could have also played the part,

Charlie Sheen is great and back to his best way better so far in the 1st 2 epps then he was in 2 and 1/2 man

Love the group meeting charlie has what a great mis matched group they got for it

Looking forward for the next 8 epps of Anger Management

I have to say its more of the same. Its the same character again.

He did the same when he took over from Michael J Fox on Spin City. Then took it to the next level with Two and Half Men and it seems more of the same here. Drinking and womanising.

Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed Spin City and Two and Half Men but the first couple episodes of Anger Management dissapointed me. Maybe it will grow on me.

Just watched the first 2 and I hate to say it, but I don't see why it got such great ratings - presumably because it's his first show since Men. Be interesting to see if they stay as high a few weeks from now.

I loved him in Men, but this... it's like a watered down version of it and I don't think I'll be rushing back.

It's annoying how comedies like this are almost guaranteed renewal, yet ones like Community are teetering on the edge constantly.

Christ this is just cringeworthy and just not funny,i wasn't expecting much from it but there's just something weak in the script and just zone in and out of watching it,doubt I'll stay with this for some reason

Have to say I like it, it's weak in spots but on the whole it's very likable, just finished Ep8, which is the best so far by a long shot. Will keep watching.

I watched the first episode and thought it was fairly crap. Didnt watch anymore. Watched one recently (6 I think) and it's still crap so I doubt I'll be trying it again. My dad and brother love Two and a Half Men but watched one episode of this (my brother half an episode) and both think it's crap as well.

I reckon anyone other than Charlie Sheen and it's lucky to last one season. American's seem to love Sheen so his shows always get good ratings regardless of the quality of the show.
