    i think Ive added too much sugar to my bottles:) I put 1/2 tsp in 330ml and 1 tsp in pint bottles. are they gonna explde??:o

    That's up to the yeast. They may gush when you open them, or they may be fine.

    Just put them somewhere they can explode safely if that's what they decide to do.

    I've seen bottles where the caps are bent out of shape like a little cap due to the pressure! Very scary!

    It does depend on the yeast. I would not like to be around if one explodes.

    Its one of the reasons I usually use OxBar bottles, worst case scenario is just a big mess! You can also "feel" the carbonation since the bottles become much harder.

    I'd put the bottles in a cardboard box so that if one does explode, its somewhat contained at least. And I'd open then carefully, also in the box.

    I would put them in a black sack or double bagged black sack and then in the box.

    thanks everyone. the room temp varies between17/18 degrees. I pop
    (:rolleyes:) them in a cardbox for a week then put them outside. Heres hoping they don't go off for halloween thrills!!
