    Hi,

A friend has a 06 Yaris which broke down on her this morning and she has been told that the water pump 'exploded' and the fan belt needs replaced.
What would the expected cost be for this with labour?
The garage have not gotten back to her.

    Cheers

yup the 3 cylander yaris does this allright ,,
im not 100% on this but pump costs around 80€ depending on if its the genuine part or spurious ,,as its a toyota its an easy enough job ,,d belt might still be ok ,,but a belt should be around 20€ ,,,labour can vary ,,but i wouldent like to pay over 100€ .
p,s the spurious part ..ie not a genuine toyota part might be better than the real thing .

just looked it up there ,,theres a new uprated version of the waterpump there around 100€ ,,bloddy expensive ,,
try the main dealer coz this should be covered by a warrenty ,, and its a common fault .
