Full Fees if I drop out

OK, first, I apologise if this is in the wrong area on boards, but I'm new to the website.

I started attending DIT this year studying electronics. Unfortunately, the course is not for me, and I plan on leaving once I've finished the semester. I plan on applying to a different college, so my question is, will I have to pay full fees for my first year there?
Also, my situation is kinda unusual, I gained access to DIT through advanced entry, so I'm actually in year 2 of the course, even though it's my first year in college. Would this still only mean that'd I'd be liable for one year of full fees?
Finally, at the end of this year, I'm eligble for a higher certificate, if I recieved this, would it mean that I'm considered a graduate? And if so, would this affect my fees?

Any help would be appreciated folks!!
