HTC Hero screen problem

    Hi guys.

    Having a problem with my HTC Hero, started acting up today.

    A small section of the screen isn't responding.

    Same problem as this guy: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LxeIvr7xV9w

    Except my problem is slightly higher that his problem. If anyone has a HTC Hero, on the phone number entry, 7 8 and 9 arent working/ on message, the 3rd line down doesn't fully work, a s d works then close to j k l doesnt work.

    Anybody know what could be the proble, google saying a new digitizer will fix, but just want ot see if anyone has experienced the same problem.

    Some extra info, I reset to factory and did the recalaboration but no joy.

    Same problem here. I've contacted HTC twice via their online form as it's under 2 years old and no reply. I've since gotten a new phone as the Hero was just unusable.
