Going braless....

    Hi,

I'm going to a wedding this weekend and bought a dress that has lace panelling at the back. It looks way nicer if I don't have a bra stap running across the back (I can get away with not wearing a bra as Im pretty small busted) but I don't want nipples showing everywhere either!!! What would be the best solution for this????Thanks!

Buy a bra which has a lower back strap, or one of those bras that don't have a strap at all, just stick on to your boobs. You can get 'em in Penneys but if you have more to spend, check out La Senza etc.

If you don't wanna wear a bra but are worried about nipples, maybe cover them with a plaster or something?!

You can buy nipple covers in some places. I can't guarantee a place that sells them but I'd try Debenhams and La Senza if I were you.

A better solution is the stick on bra Novella mentioned.

You can get plain pasties from http://rubydemure.com/ which will suit or to take a tip from the burlesquers handbook use electrical insulating tape.

    I'm older than Minecraft goats.

I find stick on bras aren't great, they lose the stickiness very easily, if you aren't too big and can get away without wearing a bra this is your best option

Cut out two circles in a panty liner (not an S.T.). Cheap and they will do the trick. They should be sticky enough and stay in place.

Blister Plasters (think Savlon make them but an open to correction!) are brilliant at covering nipples - they are clear and feel a bit like a thin layer of gel (super thin!), you can get them in any pharmacist (or maybe even Tesco). Stay stuck to you skin all day, even if you are sweating, and don't pull like normal plasters when taking them off (ouch!).

M&S have the covers, they work really well, and they're reusable.

Just don't wear a bra? I do it lots when wearing strapless dresses and it works out fine.

I had the same dilemma at the beginning of september for my friends wedding. Nipple covers are expensive...I popped down to the chemist and bought some thin and sticky plasters...they worked perfectly. I popped some extra in my bag just in case, but didn't need them. They lasted me 15 plus hours!
