Snowboard Trip for 1

    Hi,

I'm looking to either book or organize a solo snowboard trip for December 2011 (thinking 10-17). I've done this previously, but can't seem to find any good deals this year. My budget is about €500 for skipass and accommodation (but could stretch to €600). I would hope to include the price of flights in this too, though. Has anyone any recommendations of some good resorts, deals, or booking agents? Everything i've tried so far is seriously screwing me pricewise because i'm just 1 person!
I'm an intermediate to expert boarder and i'm looking for some very challenging terrain (blacks & off piste a must). I've skied Val Thorens, Alpe d'huez, Hintertuxer, Zell am See, Obertauern and the Gastein valley previously. I've never tried Italy - any good?
    Any and all help appreciated.
    Thanks!

i'm trying to organize the same for myself for early january and really struggling. the accommodation is the killer.

i want to do an intermediate snowboard improvement course/camp.
i've found a few of these in the alps , but the accommodation is crazy money.

very few companies cater for the solo traveller, which is understandable i guess...

    i've been looking at hostelbookers.com
there are several hostels in ski resorts on there that are relatively cheap.

once you've found the accommodation, the flights, ski pass etc are easy online.
with hostel bookers you'll get something within your budget i reckon

I got a relatively cheap trip to Austria last January, wasn't actually cheap, but was a nice hotel so was cheap for what it was as far as I remember. Was even a single room that I had so no extra supplements added. Pretty sure that I booked it through DirectSki but i also booked quite late I guess, end of December for the second week of January trip.

Not sure when I'll get a chance to fit in a trip this season, but will probably end up aiming for something similar. Booking at short notice, just go wherever comes up at reasonable enough deal.
