I would generally use ebay.ie for such things.

Just make sure to only use highly rated buyers with a high feedback score, that way your safe :)

Hi, No i wouldn't order that, as it's €62 before postage, plus customs may get it and charge more. Also, most importantly, it's not a genuine HP battery, for that price, I would expect a Genuine replacement. =Even though it is 12 cell.

    Try Ebay

    or Amazon

That battery is not an original HP battery and won't last as long as an original.

I've found that non-original batteries last about a year, while the original ones last much longer if used correctly.

The original ones though can cost €130 - €160.

It all depends on how old your laptop is and its current value.

My laptop is 3 and a half years old so I could not justify spending 150 euro on a genuine Dell battery when I can buy an alternative for 25 euro and I know from buying the same non-original battery that it lasts for a year (in my case - other non-original batteries may last a lot less).

Spotted this one on amazon uk for 35 GBP:
Edit - there's also a shipping fee of 10 GBP to Ireland :( so take a look at ebay - You should be able to get a non-original for less than 30 euro. Note also that most people who say on ebay that the battery is an original are not telling the truth so the quality of their batteries may also be dodgy.

Are there any places I can physically walk into and order a new battery for my laptop? Everywhere online either are really expensive or won't use Paypal or Laser.

Plus I want to actually speak to someone about it.

Is there nowhere at all? Even an online store that takes laser?

    ebay accept paypal.
If you have laser I assume you have online banking. Just stick a few €'s into a paypal accout(will take a few days to clear) then buy it from ebay. That's what I do since I don't have a CC and am too cheap to get one :D.

And don't go into a shop unless you like getting ripped off!!
