    I don't think I'll be able to get to Dublin before the 31st :(

    Yes, to take a different course next year. I've already been in and talked to my tutors about this

    Oh sorry, the way I read that was that you couldn't get to Dublin in time for your course start date, so wanted to defer for the year.

    Apologies.

    As for deferring Online, I really don't think so, but I'm not 100% sure. If you rang the main switch they'd know who to connect you to who would know if you can, and if you can't what you can do about it.
