There are two pages in the Mail today on Gallagher surely this is in contravention of the moratorium. Not a fan of Gallagher but think this is unacceptable. Can the Mail be prosecuted or censured for this?

The moratorium is for broadcast media only as far as I know. It doesnt affect print media, so nothing broken

The moratorium applies to tv and radio only. Newspapers can continue to cover the election. Canvassers can still call to the door. The campaign goes on until 10pm this evening (although, the campaign is effectively over once the moratorium is in place).

Pity the ban wasn't on all media since about early September.
