Sorry about the thread title but before I go out on my bike again ,I need decent trousers a helmet and pair of clipless.
I spotted night vision trousers in css ,which look fine. But what pedals and shoes should I go for or will the lads over there be fine for all the gear ?

Yeah few should have everything you need and can talk you through the various options. If commuting you may want spd, which allow u to walk like a normal person once they are recessed. Spd sl, look Leo, etc will all be more geared towards racing. I personally use spd sl which I recently changed to from spd and much prefer it. Having said that the spd are.a.good starter.

Be sure the shoe can take a few options in case you change pedal, but not shoe later on.

I'm going to get the tourer pedals that were mentioned on another thread ,I think they're called A530's.
Also like the look of AM45 shoes ,

While researching the above shoes ,some person said they had a spare set of blank plates that allowed them to cover over the hole in these shoes. I'm not sure whey they had to do this ,sounded like the shoes has an obtrusion for the cleat. I'll obviously find out when I see them.
