    Hi,

I have an NCT on Saturday morning and cannot find my certificate. Is there anything I can do to still successfully have the NCT carried out?

I missed a retest recently, and had to book a full test again. I still have failure document and payment receipt from this test, does that give me some kind of argument to stand on? :o

    Thanks guys.

I'd say go ahead, I'v tested a few cars and they only asked for the money.

I'm in the process of getting mine tested in Fonthill this evening. The girl at the desk asked me for the cert.

Ring them in the NCT Centre and ask the question or drop into the Garda with a filled out application form D800 which you will need to do anyway to get a new cert. The Garda will stamp and sign it, which might be better than no cert at all.......

Thanks, but isn't that form for lost/stolen learner permits and driving licences, rather that vehicle registration certs?

Rang them today, photo ID is fine. You don't need the registration certificate.

Just so other folk reading this know!
