ical to iphone 4 ios5 Wont Sync

Hi,
Really hoping someone here might know this, have triad loads of stuff online but cant sort it.

I have a google calendar (college timetable) imported into my ical on my MacBook Pro 10.5.8
It will not sync to my iphone 4 running ios5. All other calalder events sync grand, just not the google calendar.

So far have tried this http://www.google.com/support/mobile/bin/answer.py?answer=139206 amongst other. This page, while titled "Google Sync for iphone" simple tells me to back up my personal data??!! :rolleyes:

Has anyone come accross this before?

I used the popular answer on this page to help me set up some google calendar recently...

Dunno if you got this sorted but I think you have to either add the google account to your iphone or change the events to another calendar within ical... ical doesn't sync the calendar if it's a remote calendar as far as I know

It's not just google calendar. I only use the iCal calendar on an iMac and the phone. They won't sync. Pain in the butt.
