Im changing track race bikes but my new bike has a longer headtube +30mm and shorter top tube -15mm, the bottom bracket is a bit higher. I had a 100mm quil stem and with the new bike Ive changed to 130mm stem also at 72degrees. This places the drop position much higher, Ill have to check the measurements at home later. The saddle is higher tho with the higher bottom bracket.
I was comfortable before even tho it was a big drop, no back pain. I read that you can lose power if you get too low. My choice is to try the new setup or buy a 120mm Nitto 58degree stem, I have one thats too short at 105mm. They are bloody expensive tho.
The Nitto bars have a 170mm drop but my last bike I used 3T bars with an even deeper drop, but the Nitto bars flex under my load when sprinting. So thats around another 10mm lost
