Can anyone tell me the best tyre for grip and good wear for a Toyota Corolla 1.4 d-4d new shape saloon car?

Tyres i have used is Bridgestone Turanza and Michelin energy saver but i want to know what do others think is best and what type of mileage they are getting on a set of tyres.

Michelin are the best you should get 40,000km on them with tracking done,

Why not check Toyota's recommendation for the car :)

205/55 16 is it? In my opinion the best compromise between price and quality out there in that size at the moment is the Bridgestone Turanza ER300. Should be readily available for under €100 each fitted and balanced. The Michelin is probably a slightly better and longer lasting tyre but with most suppliers will be a good bit more expensive than the Bridgestone.

I think the size is 195/65 R16 they are not 205 i know that.

When i bought the car i was told they put new tyres on it which were bridgestone Turanze er300 and i got about 27k klm out of them but i couldnt tell you how much was on them for sure as you know with garages they say they fitted them but they could of been on before they got the car.

As for the michelin i have them on for 31k klm and they will soon be coming to an end. I do a 20 minute drive to work 5 days on motorway mainly.
