    'Public Participation in Marine Resource
    Protection and Management' Seminar

    Please join the Environmental Pillar and environmentalists to discuss public participation in marine resource protection.

    When: Thursday 27th October, 1pm - 4pm
    Where: The EC representation in Ireland, 18 Dawson Street, Dublin 2
    Speakers:

    The seminar will feature prominent environmental experts
    Richard Bates, Directorate-General for Maritime Affairs and Fisheries, European Commission
    Dana Millar, University College Dublin
    Karin Dubsky, Dr Annetta Zintl, and Paul Laird, Coastwatch
    Johnny Woodlock, Irish Seal Sanctuary
    It is aimed at environmentalists, politicians, policy-makers, business people, social partners, and all those with an interest in marine resource protection.
    The seminar will close with a seafood reception featuring sustainably sourced artisan marine products, and fishing music courtesy of 'The Alpaca Jamboree'.
