    If one had 2 previous prov licences and hadnt had one since before all the new bike regulations were introduced, would you be subject to those regs even though you had years of expierence??

    Mind you, it occurs to me that if it's more than five years since the last provisional/learner permit expired, you'll need to start as a new novice driver, IBT and all.

    Its no were near 5 yrs so it should be ok but is there a minimium number of lessons id have to take to be able to do the test or can i just apply, get a few lessons and take the test?

    Pre-test would probably do you. Have a word with a good ADI.
