    Hi,

If purchasing a new iPhone, instead of purchasing insurance, I wish to purchase the new Applecare program for it which includes accidental damage repair. This was only recently launched.

Where do I buy it and when should it be bought when getting a new device?

The new apple care is not yet available in Ireland unfortunately!

    It's called Apple Care +

Oh, I might insure myself so, so put away some money each month in case I need some repairs done.

Although, I don't drop my phone as much as more.

Look into the excess on your policy, its usually not worth it unless you've dropped your phone in water and it not repairable

Oh I know, I wasted my money on O2 insurance the last time. This time, I'm not going to actually insure it, I'm going to save my own insurance money.
