    Anyone thinking about getting anything from them don't, 30 minutes and counting for technical support.

    At this rate may move stuff back to BT.

    You're not alone in thinking that, they are the most-complained-about telecomms company in the UK.

    They just started the process of switching to Xen

    Based on unpleasant personal experiences with them, my advice is:
    - keep good records of all your interactions with them
    - get the name of everybody you talk to
    - don't believe anything they tell you
    - double check that you have really transferred from them
    - watch out for unexpected charges from them for the next while

    I only use my landline for the internet so pay BT line rental and Xilo are my ISP and I can heartily recommend them, maybe not the cheapest out there but you get what you pay for. They have call plans now I THINK but have no need for a landline.
