Is anyone else experiencing a up outage in Dublin? We're in D4 and have not had tv or broadband since yesterday afternoon.

I phoned last night and they said there was a disruption but that it would be back online at 10 pm. Just checked now and both are still down.

Not sure if I should just wait or phone again.

In Dublin 15 and have been fine for a good while now. I'd ring them again.

Ring them now, I find that the wait isn't as bad first thing in the morning compared to when you ring in the evening.

    That's reassuring.

Did it just come on again, or did you need to reboot or anything? Sorry, these are very basic questions, but I am a bit of a novice when it comes to these things.

Also, does UPC put announcements about outages on their website or anywhere, as I couldn't see anything that would have saved a phone call!

I've had a couple of broadband stoppages but I'm pretty sure I caused those myself, and they were resolved by restarting the modem. If your TV service is gone as well it sounds like it probably is a UPC issue that they will need to fix. I had serious problems with them for a couple of months, so if I were you I'd be keeping a track of any outages and looking for money off your next bill.
