    Hi,

    just a small question for you.
    If a company has Full time staff, short time/lay off staff, and then continues to have bank staff which are called on if more work comes in as an on call basis or shift basis.

    Do the short time/lay off staff have preference or other over the bank staff, especially if the bank staff are working more hours than the other staff.

    p.s if there is enough work for all the rest should the layoff staff / shorttime be made full time staff again if enough hours are there before the bank staff.
