Anyone else getting the impression that he's going to have a good one this weekend?

Hope so, but I've been hoping he'll do something special for some time now.:(

Ah come on national records over half marathon and 5km in the last 6 months or so. 5k was very special.

Cragg finishes 3rd in 47:13 just under a minute of the winner Leonard Komen.

Was fricking windy down on the coast there today by all accounts. Komen went off at a totally daft pace as well for those conditions but I guess the record is easily his on a good day the way he was running.

Friend of mine "beat" Cragg to the line as well:

She's the one hidden behind the "Men 47:03" icon, but then she did get a 15(?) minute head start. :D

That's a hugely encouraging run for a guy who must be in proper marathon training if he is running Fukuoka on December 4th. He put around 45 seconds between himself and Chris Thompson over the last 3 miles too. Treacys Irish record could be in jeopardy.

The winner went out in 4.12 for the first mile. That's pretty scary stuff!
