Can't install mounting software

    I've tried to install Daemon lite and WinCDemu. Both times the installation goes fine untill the virtual drive is being installed, when it just hangs there. If I restart the PC the software is there, but no virtual drive. It's a pretty new install of Win 7 64bit. I turned off that asking administrator rights thingy long before this. Anyone come across this before?

    When you were installing, did a red warning box come up saying the driver was unsigned?

    No. It jsut installed like everything was going fine, and then it stalled. It managed to install the program, but not the virtual drive

    Do you have ZoneAlarm installed? There's conflicts between that and Daemon Tools

    try PowerISO (free edition still allows you to mount drives, other features are restricted) and see how that works.

    Thanks Roland. I tried Power ISO and it seems to be working fine. I don't have Zone Alarm installed, but never had I a problem with Daemon Tools before. Strange. Anyways, thanks again.

    I use virtual clone drive from Elaborate Bytes on 32- and 64-bit Win7 installs and it works fine, so I'd say try that if you're still having problems
