I've been using using a Dell XPS studio with TV tuning card for the past year and a half with no problems apart from Windows Media Centre being a pain to use. Anyways, today all my channels just went, I can't get anything, not even radio stations. does the weather affect receptions sometimes? Are RTE/Saorview still working on the system causing it to go down sometimes?

try unplugging the aerial and plug it back in ,and rescanning channels.

On rare occcasions due to weather a stronger signal may appear from another transmitter. Media Center has a habit of automatically retuning to the stronger signal. However, when that disappears, it does not restore the defaults unless you rescan.
Use TASKS>TV>TV SIGNAL>SCAN FOR MORE CHANNELS which is quicker than a full setup.
