    If you have already posted, then only on next payroll you can deduct overpaid amount. That's what we do. May be use backup if there are very few employees.

    Im going to ask this as people use strange terms when they come on here.

    Do you mean the gross was entered as too high or that they actually got a cheque for too much?

    Do you calculate from gross to net or net to gross.

    Anyway just to let you know there is a reverse last payslip option on thesaurus.

    But i can be more help if you answer the above.

    Hey you can reverse the payroll and ammend the employees pay details if he did not get paid. As you can pay him correct amount now otherwise as mentioned in above post you can ammend it next week.
