Cost is dependant on the thickness of the felt and its use. So a 2mm felt is going to be a lot cheaper than a 4 or 6 mm thick role. afailk all the rolls are a standard width and length of 1m x10m but just looked that up online on this site and found I was wrong but still the felt I'd be using would be 1m x 10m rolls. I was paying something like 40 (ish) euro a roll for 4mm torch on felt last time I bought a roll from the local builders merchants.

4mm minimum! don't get crap, bitumen content and shingle quality is also very important for getting twice as long out of your roof.
