New Ipad & Sky

Hi All,

Got a new Ipad2 which I haven't registered yet..I pay for sky sports with my brother which is in his name.

Can I get a login for myself to get sky sports on my Ipad or do I have to register it in my brother's name to avail of this service?

So if I register it in my brother's name..will it effect me in other ways?

Will I still be able to register my credit card on that profile so I can purchase from the Apple store etc?

You need your Sky iD username for the Sky Go app which is different from your Apple ID, you can use your normal Apple ID for the App Store and then when you download the Sky Go app it'll prompt you to sign in... with your Sky iD, not Apple ID.

1. Download skygo app for ipad
2. Get the skycard number for registration purposes and input bill payers details on form.
3. You have to create a username and password ( this can be anything )



I think thats about it; definitely no major hoops to jump thru.

Edit: luke says it better; create skyid first. Apple login details are not affected; basically, 2 seperate entities. And you will not have to login to skygo every time which is a bonus.

I've tried downloading facebook app etc & they ask for my ID first which I havent done as yet.

Apple ID to download apps such as SkyGo, and any apps from the App Store. Sky ID to use the SkyGo app to watch Sky on your iPad. Two totally different setups.

you're only allowed 2 devices..but you can chop and change as required...think you're locked to 2 changes a month.

Sorry for the bump but I had a go with skygo today, pretty cool I have to say but surprised how far back it is from live broadcasts. Is that right?

Usually it's about 1 minute 20 seconds behind for me.

Ya I reckon I'm around that bracket. Surprised its that far back thou. My first time using sky go
