Hi guys looking at buying a 01 - 02 Mazda 323 1.5 or 1.6 has anyone any advice on what I should look out for when looking at used cars and how do these cars perform in everyday use?

They are a fine car, I'm selling one for my mate at the minute and the only thing that needs replacing is a crank sensor. It's fairly boring if I'm honest but unlikely to let you down. He has it 3/4 years now and all it ever needed was servicing.

So all in all a very good car, economical but boring! :)

Can you give me more info on the car, how much, how much to replace crank sensor etc and a picture please?

Try and get a 1.6 litre over the 1.5 litre. It is nippier and it will also be the facelifted model which had improvements including a slightly different front end.
