Due to circumstances beyond their control, Gaelcon has had to move at really short notice to the RDS Concert Hall: http://www.rds.ie/cat_venue_detail.jsp?itemID=206

Accommodation in the D4 hotel, if you've already booked, is unaffected.

The Gaelcon site, http://www.gaelcon.com, will presumably be updated with this info later today.

    Please share/crosspost/retweet, etc.

    Hey! we're not turf ;)

Yah, the timetable should roughly remain the same, the floor plan, will require a fair bit of work, but we'll get there.

For any timetable changes, please check the facebook page ( http://www.facebook.com/gaelcon ) or twitter @gaelcon

That's not strictly true, based on when I called them earlier. They said it's probably ok, but they won't know for certain till Thursday if the hotel will be reopened.

However, lady said they'd have no problem refunding the (unrefundable) discount, which is very cool of them.

****, I'm booked in there for the weekend. It'll be a bitch organising accom if it doesn't reopen.

Chances are they will just move you to one of the other hotels in the chain.

The hotel will contact you, if your booking was on the ground floor then they will arrange new accommodation (no extra cost to you)/or refund, otherwise you should be fine.
