Just a quick question, my husband normally worked from 9-6 with 2 15min teabreaks in the morning and afternoon and 1 hour unpaid lunchbreak, his hours have been changed without notice and he now works 9-5 - no teabreaks and just half hour unpaid lunch break, is this legal??? he works a total of 7.5hrs in the day, should he not at least be entitled to a teabreak in the morning???

read your contract first - or any employment rules
    Most often rules are:
you can have first 15min beak after cont. working for 4h
you can have another 30min (+15 above) after working 6h without break

so is my work place - if you want you can check citizeninformation for more details
