Phone repair shop in GPO Arcade

    Howdy,

My old HTC Desire has a faulty mic I want to get fixed and when I went into CPW where I bought it, they seemed very reluctant to book a repair and advised a repair shop in Finglas.

I then went to Meteor who did the same but advised a repair shop in the GPO Arcade off Henry street.

Finglas is a non runner but I work in town so was going to pop in after work. Just wondering does anyone have any experiences of this place in GPO Arcade Dublin?

The girl in the shop said it will only cost me a few bob and be done while I wait, sounded too good to be true and I'm always weary of unofficial repair places.

Tried searching the forum and couldnt find anything, any experiences would be appreciated.

Work round the corner from me. O2 Henry St use this as their repair centre. Well it's where mine got sent when I bricked my LG GT540. Also went in with an unrelated laptop matter and found them very helpful.

    Have to laugh.

Guy in there tells.me.only one place in Dublin can fix HTC.and they are in rathminea.

Then tells me HTC have 24 month contracts and any HTC bought in Ireland is still in warranty.really helpful

So pop into meteor in Henry st who confirm. Really helpful staff and the manager told me they can send it away but first to get my ROM back to factory default so i don't get stung.

So new need to get rid of cywgin mod which was aloud of rubbish anyways.

    Disappointed with meteor swords.
