Returning to Ire for work - Tax

Anybody know what happens if you return to Ireland to work after being aboard for a number of years? Do you have to contact the Tax office and reactivate old pps number or is this done by the company I work for, as I have no P45 as such. Do I need to do anything else? Cheers.

Depends how long you were gone really. The best bet is to complete a Form 12A, and this will get your record / employment updated.
