Hey folks I drive a diesel mondeo. In the past couple of weeks I've noticed a hissing noise coming from the dash board on the drivers side. Noise only starts after the engine has warmed up. Noise seems to go when you turn the wheel. This noise is present with heating/fans turned off. Any ideas??

The heater resistor pack is down in that location could need replacing. Is your fan working on all 4 settings?

Heater is working perfectly. Noise seems to be coming from belt area. My mechanic has checked the belt, pulleys and tensioner and said the prob isn't there

Open the bonnet with the engine running. It could be from one of the intake hoses.

Could be a snake trapped somewhere?
