    Hi guys just wondering how would you train to be a livestock auctioneer ? like what courses etc ??
    All suggestions welcome

    I would think all you need is an autioneers licence. Don't take that as fact though though. Not 100%. Someone will verify though.

    also i was thinking of a butcher and how to go about learning or courses for either ?
    any suggestions welcome thanks!

    To officially learn to be a butcher you need to do an apprenticeship but many butchers have worked at it for many years without doing official training (as with most trades)

    I would imagine you would study Auctioneering first and then specialise in livestock after.

    I think you would have to take some Business Studies course.

    well muckit give a day killing in the slaughterhouse killing 12 heifers and 30 lambs with 1 more guy and you will see how EASY it is. Butchering is a craft involving the purchase of a top quality animal processing it through the slaughterhouse and selling the processed carcass over the counter. It takes knowledge, skill and practice and STILL no easy money!!
