Hi, need some advice here, i am trying insure my wife's car, via Allianz company, as current company for same money offer very little add ons ... nearly nothing, but Allianz for nearly same money offer full wack of add ons.

So we didnt hesitated, fill online form, enter visa card number, and bingo.

Got an email , there were looking for no claim bonus (my wife has 6 years, but with last company she were only one year, and no claim bonus states has full wack discount, but with current policy 1 year)- so they wan t us prove, we didnt had any accident ... !!!!, also they ar looking for - tax saver commuter ticket ..... WTF !!!!!!!! And if we dont have, than premium increases for around 150 euro. So they expecting wife use public transport, and pay them insurance premium for car which sitting on driveway ??

Yes, my question, can they require - tax saver commuter ticket ? Do we have to have it? if my wifes work in other part city.

The last insurance company your wife was with should have stated that she had the 6years no claims bonus, as they would have received the 5year no claims bonus letter from the previous insurer. I have changed insurers many times over the last few years and each company adds on a year to the total of no claims and not just for the one year that I was with them. Get your wife to contact them.

As for the taxsaver ticket, you get 20% or 25% off with alliance if you have one, but if she doesn't use public transport then she doesn't need it. It's only to see if she will get a reduction in the policy if she has one.

from the sound of it your wife doesn't have the commuter ticket, best option in front of you is to pay 150 it seems
